Girls Rock! Chicago will be having a benefit rock show Friday, February 29th at The Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave, Chicago, Illinois. The show will feature Baby Teeth, The Fake Fictions, and Parsley Flakes. Cover is $8 and the show starts at 10pm. Proceeds will benefit Girls Rock! Chicago.
About the bands…
Chicago’s Baby Teeth draw on influences from vintage pop icons and bedroom confessional lyrics to kick out larger than life pop anthems. With their incredible energy and a new take on 70’s pop, Baby Teeth produce a sound that’s refreshingly endearing.
Formed in 2004, The Fake Fictions churn out a catchy sound filled with driving backbeats and dueling male/female vocals. This Chicago three-piece puts on a great live show with songs that will leave you nostalgic for simpler times.
Opening are Parsley Flakes, who’s fresh, synth-heavy sound only gets better live. The electro-punk trio’s energy is
contagious and is sure to get you on your feet.
