GR!C Hits Evanston: A Summer Camp Fundraiser
Last summer, 70 talented girls from ages 8 to 16 hit the stage at Metro to perform 18 original songs that they had written in just one week. Join us on Thursday, April 9 for a FREE screening of Girls Rock! Chicago’s 2008 End-of-Camp Extravaganza and see for yourself what rock camp is really all about.
Plus, learn more about Girls Rock! Chicago’s core values and upcoming camps, including our first ever Ladies Rock Camp. Support our efforts by entering a RAFFLE with prizes generously donated by some of our favorite Chicago area businesses & crafters. Or grab a little something sweet to eat from our always popular BAKE SALE table.
Refreshments will be graciously provided by our host, DWR Evanston, located at 1710 Sherman Avenue.
Showcase screening will begin at 6pm, with presentation and raffle to follow.
This event is all ages, family friendly, and FREE.
