Let's Rock Camp

A fundraiser for Girls Rock! Chicago summer camp

February, 16th through 19th, 2018

At this intensive weekend-long workshop, women (cis or trans), transgender folks (of any identity) and gender nonconforming folks ages 18 & up will follow a program similar to what the youth do at our summer camp: learn an instrument, form a band, write a song, and perform it – in just three and a half days! Each applicant will choose to play guitar, bass, keys, or drums, or be a DJ for the weekend. GR!C also provides breakfast and lunch from amazing local restaurants for all campers at no extra charge. We assign instruments on a first come, first serve basis, so we ask that you also provide us with a second choice instrument.

Thanks so all the families and campers who joined us for the 2017 camp season. We will be back next summer; look out for the release of our 2018 application at the beginning of next year!

Join us for five days of instrument instruction and band practice, as well as a performance at Thalia Hall and a professional recording session for each band. Campers MUST attend all seven days to participate in camp!

It’s finally here! A chance to experience the magic of camp during the year! Starting in 2017, Girls Rock! Chicago will facilitate one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) of workshops at Josephinum Academy in Wicker Park. Workshops will expand upon topics we cover at camp, including DIY recording, live sound setup, guitar instruction, DJing, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

Come join us for one workshop, or all day! It’s up to you!
