Join us for an ALL-AGES show on January 14th, 2024 from 12 - 3pm to benefit Girls Rock! Chicago at Schubas Tavern! Live music from Doll Parts and Won't Stay Dead along with great raffles to raise funds for GR!C!
In 2011, local musician turned psychotherapist Paul Kelvington was desperately looking for a way to engage local philanthropy and connected with Girls Rock! Chicago, a nonprofit that empowers girls, trans, and gender-expansive youth ages 8-16 through music education. Kelvington formed ECONOLINE to play Minutemen’s Double Nickels On The Dime with local musical guests to fundraise for GR!C. Kelvington subsequently followed up these benefit efforts with INSTRUMENT, performing Fugazi’s 13 Songs album as well TRANSMISSION, to play Joy Division’s album Unknown Pleasures.
Kelvington is back for the fourth benefit with supergroup DOLL PARTS to perform the Hole album Live Through This in its entirety. Featuring Kelvington, Melissa Urbanski (The Sentinels), Krystal Rosenbrock (The Evictions) and Aly Jados (Blood People), the performance of this record celebrates the power of music and feminism delivered by Courtney Love.
DOLL PARTS will be supported by local horror-punk band WON’T STAY DEAD, partially comprised of former GR!C campers, Violet Staley and Saffron Lair.

We're thrilled to return to this signature event in-person with cocktails and tasty bites to celebrate and raise $20,000 to support our programs for girls, trans, and gender-expansive youth in Chicago.

More InfoThis virtual event will feature a multi-round trivia competition for teams of 2-8 adults and quiz you on how well you know music from yesterday and today! Teams will choose which organization their donation benefits. Coordinated costumes and punny team names encouraged. Trivia will take place over Zoom, so team members do not need to be in the same place. Each player should register as an individual and enter the name of your team.
